Japan's Journey 2009 - Day 1

Hm...actually the journey itself was at October last year, but it's just that I feel so lazy to update my blog about that, but after i did some thinking, it will be waste also not to put some writing about my experience, just to commemorate my journey there, so I guess I'll just start to post about all the things that I've done at Japan last time, my journey lasted for 7 days, started on 17 October 2009 until 23 October 2009.

FYI, a journey to Japan has always been one of my dreams. I'm looking forward for a chance to do a second trip there.

Day 1 :

The first day of my journey, i still worked the day before my journey, added up with some OT and something that I needed to settle before my journey, I reached home at around 10pm++, actually my flight was at 6 am the next day, so I had a lot of spare time, it's just that I didn't want to spend some cab fare, it's so expensive, and some more it's past midnight, planned to spend the night at Changi Airport though, but in the end, I still need to spend cab fare (-- !!) .

I reached Changi Airport at around 3 am, so I had 2 hours plus to walk around and went to Changi Airport terminal 3 to do some sightseeing, and of course some photo taking :P

Then finally the time has arrived, it's time to board the plane and spent the next 7 hours inside a plane, lucky though that the plane got an in house entertainment, if not, I don't know what I'm supposed to do that time, and the movies that they provided is quite new as well ( they had X-Men - Wolverine as well ). Finally after 7 hours of watching movie, breakfast, sleep ( only slept for 2 hours the day before ), we arrived at Narita Airport, Japan.

When we arrived at Narita, we already prepared our wind shield, a.k.a. our jacket :P, because the weather at that time is autumn, and we didn't want to get sick on the first day we arrived there. Turned out that the weather was not as cold as what we expected, it's quite comfortable though, not as hot as Singapore and Indonesia. We traveled by the airport shuttle to go to the nearest shuttle stop to our hotel,

and after unpacked some of the stuffs, we went for dinner, our very first dinner at Japan, which is Okonomiyaki (^_^),The real Japanese Okonomiyaki, and at a Okonomiyaki restaurant complete with it's big pan in the middle of the table, plus the cooking utensils and all the seasoning.

after our delicious dinner, we still had another place to visit, and the first tourism spot that we visited that time is Tokyo Tower.

and Tokyo Tower is the last destination for our journey in the first day, and that day was ended by all of us felt exhausted, and sleepy, because lack of sleep on the previous day, and before I went to sleep, I closed that day with a little supper of Onigiri, quite filling :P.
